Where did you get your idea for this book? The biggest inspiration for this book was my own fascination with jellyfish. When Suzy's best friend dies, she can't accept that fact that "sometimes things just happen. Suzy seeks a scientific explanation for the death of her best friend Franny while staying silent and navigating the daily trials of junior high.
