This session was also the first time that all MYP schools took part in IB-validated moderation of the MYP Personal Project — the result of which was an impressive range of student projects. Taking the initiative to lead innovation in the education sector, the IB launched the new model for assessing student achievement via the MYP. MYP exam results released today! Many thanks to our wonderful IBexaminer team for all the work they put in this session! The MYP is available for students aged 16 years and comprises of eight subject groups that span several disciplines to deliver both a depth and breadth of learning. The new eAssessment is undertaken by 16 year olds upon completion of the MYP and is designed to assess students beyond the rote memorisation of content. Just 25 percent of the assessment is based explicitly on knowledge and understanding; the rest focuses on inquiry, communication and critical thinking skills.
Substantial planning is underway for the migration of DP examinations from paper to on-screen. We are extremely excited about this important development for the IB. It means that exam papers will no longer be printed and couriered to schools, students will instead sit on-screen examinations on a computer, laptop or tablet. We will have some on-screen diploma examinations available as an option from Yikes, I thought the day where students would do exams online would be years away.
This is not ethical, but here's a link: IB RESOURCES REPOSITORY You'll get everything you are going to ask for in DP.

Students prefer the on-screen examination because this reflects how they learn on a daily basis. The on-screen examinations are media rich and dynamic, so questions can be designed that require much more creative responses, or responses that require students to manipulate data and present new understandings in a way that is not possible on paper. The MYP is available for students aged 11 — 16 years and comprises of eight subject groups which span several disciplines to deliver both a depth and breadth of learning.
